AlbumCOMMONWEALTH GVI mint and used collection in interleaved, printed and fairly well filled Crown album, about 2/3rds used, with useful run of defin sets [GB almost complete, India incl 1937 and Gandhi sets], short sets, better singles etc, several Weddings, UPUs etc. Useful lot, a decent basis for expansion. £1250 £ Request
FolderCOMMONWEALTH Collector's duplicates in packets in folder. A little messy, but lots of better stamps in this one, incl GVI mint to top vals (of note Leewards £1, Straits GVI incl blks 4 etc)! It adds up. (Many 100s) £1250 £ Request
AlbumCOMMONWEALTH GV to early QEII mint and used collection in loose-leaf album, mostly B-G countries, useful Br. E Africa, Cyprus, Caymans, Falklands, Grenada, Gold Coast, Gambia, Gibraltar, one or two HK and India, plus others. (100s) £1000 £ Request
AlbumCOMMONWEALTH Aden-Ireland general mint and used early to modern collection in loose-leaf album, one of the most disorganised collections we have come across, where it appears the stamps have been mounted randomly, as received, page by page. This results in modern low value used commems being displayed alongside higher value mint Victorian issues, or any similar combination. Most countries within the letters covered have a fair coverage, generally low to medium value stamps, with the occasional £5, £10 or £20 item mixed in (and sometimes more). The 2 pages illustrated give a clear indication of the type of collection. As to value, there are in excess of 150 pages, which ought comfortably be worth £5+ per page. This is one which will re-pay the effort! (few 100s) £1000 £ Request
AlbumCOMMONWEALTH Used GVI collection in Crown album, (a few mint in places) most issues represented, but sparse in places, with a few complete defin sets, though mostly short sets with better vals here and there, occasional 48 Wedding, some UPU etc plus a few oddments in loose inserts. (100s) £900 £ Request
FolderCOMMONWEALTH The following 10 lots are taken from a private estate and comprise a selection of new issue distributions from 1960's to early 2000's, as received, mint and used (mint only from about 1990) with a small proportion of mint non-BE. All appear to be as received from new issue dealers, either in the UK (mostly) or abroad, the majority together with original invoices. When the stock arrived with us it was somewhat higgledy-piggledy, so we cannot guarantee that stamps in any lot follow in any particular chronological order: all could contain stamps from any of the periods covered. Countries covered are generally mainstream: South Atlantic, Antipodes, West Indies, HK/Malaysia, tending towards Br. Sth Atlantic only from late 1990s. Some of it, especially the 1980s, is probably worth less now than when issued, but throughout there are gems to be found: Hong Kong such as commems (esp. Lunar New Year) billed at 15p each!), defin reprints and so on. Each lot has an invoiced price as new issues wel £900 £ Request
AlbumCOMMONWEALTH GVI mint (mostly) and used collection in album, generally with vals to 1/- or equivalent (some higher vals, esp in commems) and therefore including many of the awkward lower vals such as St. Helena 1d green and 3d blue, Fiji 5d (blue), Nigeria 4d orange etc. Also GB incl Wedding £1 and Festival hi-vals plus 1939 to £1 (ex 10/- dark) and much more. Clean lot. Cat £4400 (re-offered with reduced estimate) £600 £ Request
FolderCOMMONWEALTH Collector's duplicates in packets in folder. Allsorts incl NZ Health issues, complete defins, FDC. (few 100s) £600 £ Request
